Google Cache – Repetition??

According to our Google Cache a lot of our links to posts on our site repeat the title twice. Does it do this because there is no link description and if so how do we go about adding a link description so our page comes up in relevant searches? How bad is this and should we make it a priority to fix? If so how do we fix it?
