Google: Breadcrumbs markup issues
-
Hello,
I got this alert today for the first time for a site that is listed since long time:
Google systems show that your site is affected by 62 instances of Breadcrumbs markup issues. This means that your Breadcrumbs pages might not appear as rich results in Google Search.
Search Console has created a new report just for this rich result type. The new report enables you to identify, fix, and resubmit affected pages to Google so they can start appearing in Search Results with rich result features.
When checking the details, there are 62 items with “Invalid URL in field “id””, 2 items with “Missing field “item”” and 2 others with “Either “name” or “item.name” should be specified”.
I really don’t know how to handle those…
Is there something to be edited in Yoast settings or else?In fact, I’m I supposed to enable breadcrumbs in settings if I don’t use them?
I just see they were disabled…Thanks.
