Google Authenticator & texts unavailable for login. Am I screwed?
-
Hey guys,
I’m trying to access a WordPress I created a couple years back, and while I do remember my username and password, it is requiring me to verify via Google Authenticator, or as an alternative to this, via text.
The problem is that I don’t have access to the Google Authenticator app, and I don’t have that phone number to which the texts are incoming anymore.
All I have with me is: my user email, my username and user password. Perhaps even the smartphone where I installed the authenticator app.
What can I do? Is there any way for me to prove ownership and be granted access again? I really want to get this site out of the internet. Thanks in advance!
