    Hi,

I’ve just installed this plugin and when trying to complete Step 1 of the setup, to authenticate with Google, I am receiving this error:

The page you have requested cannot be displayed. Another site was requesting access to your Google Account, but sent a malformed request. Please contact the site that you were trying to use when you received this message to inform them of the error. A detailed error message follows:

The site “https://co.uk” has not been registered.

Google reports that this authentication method has been deprecated.

Is there a way around this problem? I don’t particularly need access to private albums, so this step is probably not required, but the plugin demands it…

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Matt

  • To my eyes, the token refresh is working correctly. Something else… especially since 2/3 galleries are functional.

    For completeness…

I tried using private galleries. They work (in principle), but the one gallery is a near duplicate of the public library that does not work, and it also does not render. Is it possible there is something about the metadata or ??? that is breaking the PHP output? The galleries display fine on Picasa.

    –Rich

Hmmm…. I may need to look for another solution if we don’t come up with a fix.

Hi Rich, what is your picasa username. Since they are public I can try to work it out on this end instead of sending you some things to try.

    Scott

@smccandl : did you update your beta version?

    Hi Rich and jroy,

I uploaded a debug version of showAlbumContents.php at

    https://pwaplusphp.smccandl.net/code/showAlbumContents.php.debug

Download that and put it into your wp-content/plugins/pwaplusphp folder.

Rename the original to showAlbumContent.php.orig and then rename showAlbumContents.php.debug to showAlbumContents.php.

Reload the page and tell me what you see.

    Scott

    Hi Scott,

I have to use the final version or the debug version of your plugin?

with the final version and this file nothing happen: no pictures and no debug information.

Use 0.9.10 from the WP repository and then replace the showAlbumContents.php with the showAlbumContents.php.debug from
    https://pwaplusphp.smccandl.net/code/showAlbumContents.php.debug

it was I did, and nothing happen.

    I agree with jroy.

The galleries that worked previously continue to work, but now spit out debug data. The album that did not work previously still terminates the page HTML code prematurely = no footer code, etc.

Here’s what I get from the 3rd album:

    DEBUG: [showAlbumContents] PHOTO_ID is 6127805466152109585
    DEBUG [showAlbumContents] thumb=https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-OXCahB7OUiU/VQpWnWHm-jI/AAAAAAAAABI/nlH8otoda48/s160/_MJW9216.jpg, href=https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-OXCahB7OUiU/VQpWnWHm-jI/AAAAAAAAABI/nlH8otoda48/s1024/_MJW9216.jpg, gphotoid=6127805476943362610

The second has no debug output at all.

Here is the output code from a working gallery and a “broken” gallery. The “article” section becomes essentially empty.

    Working:

Can you guys try to load the page and then send the last 50 or so lines from your web server error log? If the script is dying for only certain albums that’s pretty strange but error_log might say something interesting.
