Google API sending from different email address

Also, my personal email, [email protected] is not in any setting I can find so I have no idea how this is happening.

did the Postman test email come from info or me? Perhaps [email protected] is set as the WP admin email in Settings > General.

The admin email is WP is [email protected]. I can’t fine [email protected] anywhere yet that the email the notifications from the website are being sent from.

Could it have something to so with the google API?

I see what the problem is but I don’t know how to fix it. When I set everything up with the wizard I was logged in using the [email protected]. The [email protected] is set up as a google group so that it can redirect emails in our organization. Google API will not allow me to assign that email as an owner because ‘Groups may not be project owners’. What can I do?

A group is not a real user. It’s an alias, a forwarder.

Create a new user just for the website, for example [email protected]. Create and authorize an OAuth2 Client ID logged in to Google as that user. Then you’ll want to use the Send Mail As feature to send mail as [email protected]. You can set both of those addresses in Postman on the Message tab.

I created a new user to handle web forms and did the API through that account as suggested. Corrected the issue! Thanks!
