    Hi there,

We recently started using a plugin on our site and are getting class declaration warnings similar to the ones described in this post

The plugin in question is Authorizer — here’s the github repo.

From what I can tell, this is a result of the Google API services not being properly namespaced in the vendor>google>apiclient>src>aliases.php file? Or just that the aliases in both plugins end up being the same? I’m not really sure, but I was wondering if there any steps the Authorizer developer could take to resolve those warnings? I made a post on their plugin support forum as well, and they were requesting a developer copy of Beehive so they could test against Authorizer.

Please let me know what additional information you need from me to help you out. Thanks so much for any assistance you can provide!

    Hi @fieldingmellish,

I hope you are doing well today!

Thank you for the information, we have forwarded this conflict report to our Beehive team. They will check and include a fix on the upcoming versions of the plugin.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hi Zafer,

Thanks for the quick response! I’m not sure if a change is needed on Beehive’s end or on the other plugin’s. If it’s the other plugin, please have the Beehive team let me know what changes those might be so I can forward them to the other developer.

    Thanks again!

    Hi @fieldingmellish

This is reported to our Beehive developers as compatibility bug so we could take care of it.

I don’t have ETA (and not being a developer myself, I’m not sure exactly what “code-wise” causes the issue) but our developers will look into it and it should be fixed on our end with one of upcoming releases.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
