• Hi there,

I recently submitted a https://www.robinandrews.net/devonmathstuition to google webmaster tools, but it doesn’t seem to have indexed it yet.

I’m worried that because it’s on a subdirectory using WP multisite, that I might need to do something to get it seen? No keywords etc. from it come up under the info for the parent url ( https://www.robinandrews.net .I didn’t have to upload a separate validation file to submit it.

In short, can I submit a WP multisite “sub-site” to google webmaster tools and expect it to be indexed or is there something extra I need to do?

    Any help appreciated,

    Regards,

    Robin.

No, Google likes Multisite just fine and understands the virtuality of subsites.

That’s reassuring. Could anyone give me a few pointers to SEO using multisite? I’ve installed SEO ultimate plugin, but am confused about using it on multisite. Many of the features are too advanced for me, but for example, if I want to do something with robots.txt, do I do it on each individual site, or just on the original site from which I set up multisite, or something else?

    Same as SEO anywhere ??

Write good stuff, don’t duplicate content, etc etc.
