Google Ananlytics only and no popup needed?

    Hi,

    The site I am working on will use google analytics. When I run the wizard it says that no consent popup is needed. The compliance manager of the organization I am making the website for says that we do.

    In the statistics section of the wizard I selected “yes, google analytics” and in the more info section I did not check any boxes.
    On the next screen I get the message that it seems that a cookie banner is needed. I fill in my GA code.

    I complete the wizard and it says that I do not need a cookie banner.
    Is this the correct behaviour?

    Did you answer Yes on the first question under Wizard – Integrations?

    Hi Aert,

    I had answered No because it said: “De cookiescan detecteerde geen cookies op je site, wat betekent dat je deze vraag met nee kunt beantwoorden.” I thought this did not pertain the the GA cookies.

    It works now. Thanks a lot for your fast response.
