  • You should be able to use FTP or Cpanel to access your site files on the server and make sure it’s fully deleted from the plugins folder. Then reinstall from the Dashboard.

    I deleted the folder using Filezilla and i still get the same error. I tried installing it by uploading the zip file and through the wordpress plugin install page.

    So, it seems that the plugin was installed, even though the message appeared. Now i’m having trouble authenticating my account.

    Okay, so try renaming the plugins folder to plugins.HOLD for a few minutes. Then change it back and see if you can install it then.
