Google analytics universals isn't detecting

    I have just upgraded my google analytics to universal, Ive pasted the tracking ID onto my wordpress site in the plugin settings. And nothing it isn’t finding my site. Does this take a duration of time or should it say tracking installed straight away? Do I have to paste the code somewhere also? Should I also keep the Classic analytics going in the plugin or do I just need the universal one?

    Hello!

    There is a new plugin version available (2.4). It should solve this issue you had.

    Usually, data starts appearing right away but in some cases there are delays and it may take up to 24 hours until your first visitor data appears in the account.

    You can use both, Classic and Universal, if there is a need. In any case, I think you should plan to keeping just Universal Analytics tracker.
