Hi guys, great plugin and thanks for your hard work. We’ve used your plugin for various clients and projects over the years!

We currently have one site where the UA- (…) tracking code is not showing up at all. We’ve tried various themes, disabled all other plugins, disabled cache plugin, disabled and cleared CloudFlare, and still no luck after several different attempts.

Do you have any idea what could cause this? Assuming its not a JS conflict at this point, and have also tried re-installing your plugin with no luck, the only resources being called from your plugin are CSS files seems.

    Thanks ahead of time ??

  • Hi,

Make sure you’re not looking for the tracking code while being logged in and excluding the tracking for that particular role or using privacy browser extensions, for more details see https://deconf.com/check-google-analytics-tracking-works/.

Hi Alin, bingo! Wow, had no idea the plugin literally removes the tracking script for logged in users, thanks very much.

Perhaps it would be worth spitting out a code for excluded admins such as a commented warning that the script is being excluded for current logged-in admin? Not sure if that would be useful to many others though.

Cheers and thanks again for your wonderful work ~
