Google Analytics tracks without consent

    Hi, Google Analytics tracks Visitors (including myself) regardless if I have checked Statistics in the Banner or not. Why is this? Is there any way to prevent GA from Loading before consent? Please let me know, as this is crucial for Germany.

    Hi @alphachris ,

    I can see a “No HTTP response detected” on Analytics.js, so no Pageview is registered before consent.

    Which is the right setting for Germany.

    You can check this with the Tag Assistant from Google, or you can view your page source before consent and see the Javascript is set to text/plain and Complianz added a Statistics class to Analytics.
