    Hi,

At the level of the Google analytics tracking script (G4). This javascript is large and therefore slower to load than the previous version

Is it better to place the code via another plugin (perfmatters for example) which loads the code locally, in the footer and asynchronously (better for page loading speed and performance insights).

Or install the Google Analytics tracking code via your analytify plugin without local script and async ?

I used perfamatter but I have a doubt.

The settings (errors, demographic tracking, depth of exploration, etc.) may not be reported for the measurements if another plugin is used? What do you advise?

    Thank you

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us!

To properly add tracking code, we recommend using Analytify. It places the script in the correct location and loads it asynchronously.

If the code is placed in the footer, it may result in inaccurate data as user interactions with the website are lost until the script in the footer loads.

Furthermore, we will soon be releasing a feature for locally hosted analytics library, which you can take advantage of.

I hope this information is helpful.
