    Hi,

I would like to integrate google analytics to my website through WooCommerce Google Analytics, I follow the instruction provided by google but my tag is not being detected when I test the link.

In the instruction I am directed to confirm that I have checked the box “Use Global Site Tag” which should be located just under the tag code entry but I cannot find it anywhere on the settings page.

    Am I doing something wrong??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello vellj001,

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

Could you tell me which instructions you have followed to configure the plugin?
We have an installation guide, have you followed these steps?

For better understanding, share a screenshot of your site’s Google Analytics settings page.
I want to review the settings and make sure everything is set up correctly.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

    Hi

Thanks for replying so fast to my query. I followed the instruction provided on Google Analytics which basicly told me to install Woocommerce analytics, add the tag and check – use global site tag – which I did not find. Please find the screen shot below.

    Hello vellj001,

    Thank you for your reply.

I checked your site with https://tagassistant.google.com and it appears that there are two Google Tags added to the site.

I suggest you also go to this site and check the website’s Google Tags.
You might recognize the two Tags and tell which one is recent and which one is old.

Could you share a link to the page where you followed the instructions for configuration?

To help you further, I’d like to review your site’s System Status Report.
You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com
After that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

Hi thanks again for your prompt assistance.

I am glad to report that I think to have solved the problem. I trashed the old account and created a new one. I then added the new tag to woocommerce and the test reported the the link was successfully established.

I hope this is ok. I just would like to know if I will receive analytic date for all the pages of my website or just the woocommerce page?

It is not giving me access to https://gist.github.comAfter. Can I may be paste the text of the report here under or it would be dangerous for my website security?

    Hi @vellj001

I’m glad to hear that you’ve managed to resolve the issue with the Google Analytics tag!

I just would like to know if I will receive analytic date for all the pages of my website or just the woocommerce page?

Once the Google Analytics tag is successfully integrated with your WooCommerce store, it will track data across all website pages, not just the WooCommerce page. This way, you can get a comprehensive view of your website’s performance.

It is not giving me access to https://gist.github.comAfter. Can I may be paste the text of the report here under or it would be dangerous for my website security?

Since the issue has been resolved, you don’t need to share the system Status Report.

However, sharing this report is generally safe. It contains information about your site’s environment, such as the PHP version, active plugins, themes, etc. Therefore, we recommend using a private service like Mozilla Community Pastebin for the security of your website. If you’re having trouble accessing it, you could try again later or use a different browser.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
