Google Analytics Suddenly Stopped Working

Help! My website went live on July 3, and I was getting some (small) traffic. Then, beginning 7/28, the traffic went to zero and has stayed there. I’m using AdWords and seeing clicks there, and have used the “test in real time” advice, which isn’t working, although it says it successfully reached the site, but then I don’t see the page view in the report (I do have one GA reports filter to exclude my IP address ). I also tried using Google Tag Assistant to see if it could detect the issue, and it’s not finding any tags installed, but I also read (in one of the many forums I’ve visited in the last 24 hours) that if I have my WordPress Google Analytics plugin installed and configured, I don’t need Tag Manager.This was just confirmed by someone in the GA community – she is not seeing any tags installed on my site, and recommended that I use a GA plugin (which I am – this one!)
