    Complianz is set with :

    • “Do you compile statistics of this website?” = “Yes, with Google Analytics”.
    • I have accepted the Google data processing amendment = checked
    • Google is not allowed to use this data for other Google services = checked
    • Let Complianz anonymize IP addresses = unchecked
    • Enter your tracking-ID = UA-…
    • And the GA Google Analytics plugin is desactivated.

But I don’t understand the Complianz behavior :

    1. The banner shows the category Statistics : if I toggle off this category, the GA script still exists in the bottom of the page.
    2. The Cookie policies page talk about anonymous statstics for the Google Analytics category. But my statistics are not anonymous and I don’t want so.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

  • goog question. I’m waiting for an answer in this topic as well.

In theory, Google Analytics only must be loaded after accepting, so if you dismiss, any script must me loaded.
And on the other hand, if loaded, How do you assure that takes into account all one page visits?

    Hi @extrapaul,

    1) The banner shows the category Statistics, but if toggled off, the script still appears in the bottom of the page

Assuming that this refers to the Analytics code in the page source, the script has <script type="text/plain">. When consent is given by a user, the plugin changes it to <script type="text/javascript">, thus allowing the script to run.

    2) Anonymous statistics
Whether this is labelled as anonymous or not, should indeed be dictated by the checkbox next to “Let Complianz anonymize IP addresses”. If you verified that this option is disabled but still shows ‘anonymous’ on your policy, could you please try a resync with CookieDatabase.org? (Wizard > Cookies > Cookie descriptions)

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi @traderprof,

Perhaps 1) in my comment above answers your question as well. But would it be possible to create a separate thread for your questions? Events such as this can look very much alike but have significant differences nonetheless.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Thank you Jarno.

I see how it works for my point 1).

For the point 2) : cookies cleared, scan redone. But “Statics Anonymous” remains.
I have the same problem on https://www.iriscare.brussels.

    Hello @extrapaul,

The Purpose of the Google Analytics cookie(s) has been adapted. If all is correct, completing a new “Sync with CookieDatabase.org” will automatically update your Cookie Policy to reflect these changes.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hello Jarno.

Sync redone but my Statistics are still declared “anonyms” in the list.

I have the same problem on iriscare.brussels.
