Google Analytics site search
-
When you set up Site search for a profile in Google Anayltics, you just put the ‘s’ in the the parameters box, and this always used to work.
I’ve now noticed that the search in the recent versions of WordPress gives a different url on the search results page. I’ve not noticed that site search results are showing up in my ‘Top Content’ section in Google Analytics and looks like this:
/blog/index.php?s=outlook&cat=1-result
The search I did using the standard search box on the blog was ‘Outlook’.
What needs to be input to the GA Site search box to enable this to be captured correctly as a site search term, and not how it is now?
Thanks.
