Google Analytics recording ALL Contact Form 7 submitted data

    Our signup form is rather extensive and Google Analytics is collecting and displaying in “conversions > goals > overview > Goal Completion Location” the thank you page after signing up with a string of ALL the data collected by the signup form.

    This is a GDPR breach but I don’t know what to do to stop this. As far as I can tell, there aren’t any triggers or variables even set up to track form submissions, just a page tag for the thank you page.

    Can anyone shed light on why this might be happening and how to resolve it?

    It turns out there is a setting on the redirect to pass all the form field data in the thank you page URL, which is on by default apparently.

    I’m a little confused, CF7 doesn’t have a redirect or thank you page.
