Hello,
Thank you for the excellent theme. I am having an issue with realtime logging of Google Analytics data. In fact no data is showing up even in the google dashboard. However, when I checked with the following code only once ‘one hit’ is counted in google dashboard and then none as of yet.

I have installed the analystics script in header.php file and I wish to keep it before I get an answer from here.

I am not a code guy so I looked in with the chrome extension ‘Tag Assistant’ and found the following error in my site.

1. An error occured while the tag was fired: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
2. Error while sending request: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Can anyone help me with this?

Hello,

Try to add the code directly in the header.php file instead of using a plugin. Also, it could be a network issue. It is not a theme issue.

Thanks for that. I’ve done that actually, yet no reading from analytics dashboard. I also tried the incognito mode. Look at this analytics community posting of mine:

In fact, I have screenshot of realtime hits that happened thrice, linked at the end of this message. First hit is already with the ‘gclid’ code, already said. The second time the hits reported when I contacted for assistant at Google AdWards customer care. As I was new to google analyitcs it took time to find my customer id and in the meantime the chat session ended with insistence of further contact later. The whole conversation happened in less than two minutes. Probably the support guy was too busy responding so many customers during the lockdown.

I am not sure how to check the network issue or antivirus settings. However, it would be nice to know everything in google dashboard is working fine.

I’m again sharing two ‘Analytify Plugin Screenshots’ where there is no hits reported from the working country (Bangladesh).

Install 1clickVPN on chrome. Simulate other country access. Tag manager will work
