Hi @thelittleworldoftravelling thanks for your question. If you are using Site Kit to place your Analytics snippet for your site then your analytics tracking will be handled there and you won’t have the option to add this within the Web Stories settings.

Is there anything else I can help with regarding the Web Stories plugin?

If I don’t track my Web Stories separately, does it have any impact on traffic?

I also created a few web stories a long time ago (beginning of last year), but some of them don’t show up on Google Analytics and don’t work when I try to open them. Do you know why this happens?

@thelittleworldoftravelling No problem at all. I don’t believe this should have any impact on your traffic.

Do you have the urls for these stories that are not working? That way I can have a look to see if I can spot why this might be happening.

@thelittleworldoftravelling Thanks for sharing these. I can see quite a lot of console errors on https://mylittleworldoftravelling.com/web-stories/ so these will likely be playing a part in this. To help further could you please share the following:

1. Your Site Health information. You can share privately via this form if you prefer.
2. Were these stories working when you first published them? If you go in to edit these stories and make a slight adjustment and save/publish do they still appear blank?

I have also updated the Costa del Sol itinerary web story and it seems to work now.

Do these errors affect the performance of my site?

@thelittleworldoftravelling Okay so if you go to https://mylittleworldoftravelling.com/web-stories/costa-del-sol-itinerary/ that is now working for you? I still can’t see the story but this could be caching related.

The amount of errors I can see will likely be having an impact on your sites performance so it would be worth addressing those. Your hosting provider should be able to help you with these.

It would also be worth checking to see if any theme/plugin conflicts are causing issues with your stories. To check this please follow the steps below:

Use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enable its troubleshooting mode. This mode disables active plugins and switches to a default theme safely because it only affects the experience of the logged-in user.

• Please enable the Web Stories plugin and let me know if you still get the issue.
• Enable plugins and your theme one by one in this mode may help pinpoint if something else is involved.
• Note you can disable troubleshooting mode from the plugins page.

These steps will not affect what a user to your site will see while testing this. Let me know how you get on here and if you have any questions
