    I use GA and accepted the amendement.
    When I follow the wizard of the complianz plug-in, it detects that I’m using GA. I need to give more information and get 3 options:
    The google amendement is accepted
    It’s not allowed for Google to use this data for other services
    Always blok the collecting of IP-addresses

    I need to check them all 3? If I do so, is everything ok or do I need to do other things in GA?

    Hi @wendyjanssens,

    When checking the three checkboxes, we will anonymize IP addresses and set Analytics prior to consent, when you have configured Google Analytics as explained here;
    https://complianz.io/how-to-configure-google-analytics-for-gdpr/

    Hope this helps,

    regards Aert

    Yes, thank you. I did every step of the article except step 3.
    Do I get it right: if people click on ‘only functional cookies’ they block GA? If they say ‘all cookies’ , GA is activated but then their data is protected?

    Hi @wendyjanssens,

    Being Dutch, like us, when you check all three checkboxes, Analytics will be configured as ‘GDPR/AVG-Friendly’, and therefore will on functional as well, which is allowed.

    We will take care of step 3, as long as you check the box:-)

    The data will be anonymized, and because you followed the article, not shared anywhere else than your own dashboard.

    Hope this helps,

    groet Aert
