Google analytics not tracking properly

    I integrated Google Analytics with my WordPress site using a plugin, but the tracking data is not updating. The real-time analytics shows zero visitors, even though I know there is traffic. I double-checked my tracking ID, and it is correct. What could be the issue?

    Glad to help.

    Not sure what is happening, but can tell you that the plugin does only one thing: adds the required tracking code to your pages. Literally everything else — all of the crawling, collecting, data, etc. — that’s entirely up to Google; the plugin has nothing to do with it.

    So with that in mind, if you want to share your site URL, I would be glad to take a look and check if the plugin is doing its part by adding the tracking code to your pages.

    Anything beyond that, best advice is to ask in the Google Analytics support forum, where someone on the Google team can take a look and try to help.
