    Hi,

I just installed your plugin, but the cookie scanner not finding google analytics cookies (i’m using GTM). Is this normal?

And on the cookie modal, there is no statistics toggle (only functionnal and marketing).

Your plugin looks really nice, i plan to go with premium version but i want to be sure i understand it well and it fit my needs.

    Thanks ??

    Hi @mkarena,

Please go to Cookie Banner settings – Opt-in and add “Statistics” under GTM categories.

You can trigger statistics from GTM with a custom event: cmplz_event_0. For more information:

    https://complianz.io/definitive-guide-to-tag-manager-and-complianz/

Please do the above, visit your website and rerun the cookie scan. This should solve it.

    OK I think it’s working.

At first, I used the GTM debug mode but after I opted in for all cookies, nothing changed in the console even after i reloaded the page.

But when I start a new debug session after having chosen my cookie preferences, it works as expected.

If all non cmplz_event_functional cookies are disabled when visitor has to choose cookie preferences, will they be enabled directly after he opts in or does the page has to be reloaded? (will google analytics works if he opts in for statistics after a reload or immediatly?)

    Thanks

    Hi @mkarena,

It should work without reload, when you save your cookie preferences we will fire the custom events related to the user’s consent settings.

This event will cause GTM to trigger the configured tags.

    All seems to works fine.

I just have a problem with the cookies scanner. Not all the cookies generated by GTM are found. I cleared the cache but nothing changed.

I join you a list of cookies not found and the result of the scan:

I still can add them manually, but maybe i’m missing something?

    Thanks

    Hi @mkarena,
It can take some time for all of the cookies to appear on the list. Sometimes these Cookies are not immediately detected because they might get triggered based on an event on your website. If the event has not passed, we can’t identify the cookie yet.

Complianz will rerun the scan & cookie sync in the background to adjust and complete the Cookie list.

    Hope this clarifies.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi @jarnovos, @mkarena,

Please don’t clear cache while rerunning the scan, this will remove the cookies as well.

Please let me know in a couple of days if this has worked,

    regards Aert
