Google Analytics for WordPress

Like others, I’m receiving this error on the Configuration page after installing the plug in:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in C:[MY WEBSITE’S DOMAIN]\httpdocs\wp-content\plugins\google-analytics-for-wordpress\admin\class-admin.php on line 342

I see others have had this problem and somehow fixed it, but that post is so old that the links have all expired and unfortunately no one has fixed the plug-in or pasted the code into a forum post :\

So, please! If the author could maybe take a look at his code, or if someone has the fix and can copypasta it into a reply, that would be amazing.
