Google Analytics Events are not tracking

    The plugin isn’t passing any events to Google Analytics, and unfortunately hasn’t been doing so for several months. Gravity Forms is version 2.2.5.

    We’re using recaptcha’s on our forms so they are not being submitted using ajax. As a result, I’m using the Measurement Protocol to pass the events to GA, but nothing appears when I submit a form.

    Help would be really appreciated as this is causing some serious issues for us.

    I’m very sorry you’ve been experiencing issues. I’ve received mixed reports of this plugin not working and I apologize that I haven’t had the time to investigate due to work constraints and a bit of a mental health issues.

    That being said, I can try to help troubleshoot. Is there anyway we can meet on skype or a google hangout so I can see your setup and hopefully get a glimpse on what’s not working.

    I know your message is addressed to mikesway but i would like to help. For me it’s not possible to meet on skype or google hangout but i can give you acces to the site to find a solution.

    I already tried to disabling plugins/themes to see if there is a conflict between plugins. I also tried to check the console but it doesnt show an error or something.

    If acces to the site would help you to find a solution, let me know and send me your e-mail so i can give you login details.

    @winsleyj, thanks. I’ll work with @mikesway to hopefully resolve the issue. There’s a lot of moving parts, so a hangout or skype screenshare will help me see the issue since I can’t duplicate it.

    I have a test version at my GitHub which will hopefully resolve this issue: https://github.com/ronalfy/wordpress-gravity-forms-event-tracking

    Please install the plugin and test out your submissions. If it’s working, great! If not, back to the drawing board.

    I was able to fix @winsleyj’s problem, and I suspect the same. The latest version 2.05 pushed out the fix.
