Google Analytics Dashboard for WP Installation Question?

    We have a website mysite.com , which uses static .htm files and the Google Analytics tracking code is inserted into the .htm file manually.

    Now we install a WordPress blog at mysite.com/blogs , which uses Google Analytics Dashboard for WP to insert the Google Analytics tracking code into the WordPress pages and posts. And Google Analytics Dashboard for WP utilize the Google Analytics Account for the main site mysite.com .

    Is such an installation OK? Also I find in Google Analytics Dashboard for WP, I will be able to see the statistics data for both the main site mysite.com and the blog pages/posts under mysite.com/blogs . How can I do so that it only display the blog page/post statistic data?
