Hi. After update, the Google Analytics Dashboard works except for the BackEnd setting. When selecting US, the “location” on the map, remains blank. The US cities (along with user number) are listing properly below the map. If the BackEnd setting is left blank (for global location) the map does work properly. Any suggestions for how to fix the US locations on map? I searched the forum but found nothing on this. Thank you, Patty

Hi,

On Location Settings under Backend Settings make sure you’ve entered the Maps API Key. You can generate one by following step 1 from here https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

Unfortunately there is no filter, but you can use the GADWP() singleton to alter the options, here’s how you can instantiate it: https://github.com/awesomemotive/Google-Analytics-Dashboard-for-WP/blob/7f31c194e10e1750b7d7050aac5053e7aa639453/admin/settings.php#L18.

TY Alin for your quick reply and help. I am not a code writer. I am an engineer and attorney, and I created the website for free public education of microbiome and its impact to health. So I use plugins and the theme to achieve these needs. It looks like obtaining the Maps API Key involves more expertise than I have, and perhaps funding. I was surprised to see it no longer worked for US, but it worked for a global entry. I suppose I’ll make do without the map details but am glad to still have the US cities listed. Thank you for your insights!
