    Hello there,

I was wondering if anyone encountered this issue:
After set up of the plugin, it will only deactivate Google Analytics Cookies after delay (~3s). Reloading the page without prior triggering of consent events, the GA Cookies are not deactivated by complianz anymore.

We have not activated the Plugin on our live website yet, because of this issue. Could this be a dependency problem with Woocommerce GA?

Thank you for any information on the topic!

    Hi @0lgama,

As this really depends on how the Analytics script is configured on this site: it would be very helpful if you could re-enable Complianz on the website in question, and share an URL with us.

That would allow us to look into the current behavior, and share our findings.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    @0lgama,

We haven’t heard from you in a while, is the issue resolved? We are happy to help you further.

    Hello jarnovos and Kim,

we have only now activated the Plugin in live mode and it shows the same behaviour as described: you can see the Plugin on https://shop.kaputt.de.
After declining and refreshing page GA-Cookies are still loaded which is confusing since they are deactivated before the refresh.

    Kind regards, Olga

    Hello @0lgama,

This is because you are loading your UA- and G- properties for Analytics from within your Google Tag Manager container, but have not yet configured these tags to only fire when consent for the “Statistics” category has been obtained.

I expect that you currently have the Firing Triggers for these tags set to “All Pages”, and so they don’t wait for consent at this moment.

You can follow the steps provided here to import the Complianz triggers in your GTM container: https://complianz.io/importing-tag-manager-container/

And then change the Firing Trigger of your Analytics properties to a trigger such as “(Default) Statistics Consent”, as shown in the below screenshot, to have them fire only when consent for that category is obtained.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
