Google Analytics breaks CF7 Success Message

I am using Contact Form 7 and trying to track goals using Google Analytics. I want to track each form submission as an event. However, when I add the following code to “additional settings” I no longer get a “message sent successfully” notification.

on_sent_ok: “ga(‘send’, ‘event’, ‘Contact Form’, ‘Submit’,);”

Is there a way to submit the lead to GA and still show the user a confirmation that their email went through?
