    Dear Community,

due to the release of the new Google Analytics 4 I have changed the tracking ID in the Complianz-Wizard. After this change I have noticed that the following cookies were placed without consent:

    _ga
    _ga_*tracking ID*

See the website in action at https://www.irasszakertoi-velemeny.hu/ with Google Chrome browser.
Could you please help me, how can I block these cookies by default? There is no more analytics cookie option to obtain consent in advance when using Google Analytics 4. Or is it possible to obtain consent in advance?

    Thanks for your advice.
    Adam

    Hi @adam21337

If you have checked the three checkboxes as shown in the screenshot below, the Google Analytics implementation is considered to be privacy friendly. In most EU countries, anonymized statistics don’t require explicit consent. 6

If you wish to ask consent for statistics regardless, navigate to Wizard > General > Visitors and set “Do you target visitors from Germany, Austria, Belgium and/or Spain?” to “Yes”. Then navigate back to Wizard > Cookies > Statistics – configuration where a new question will have appeared. Set “Do you want to ask consent for statistics?” to “Yes”. Hope it helps, just let me know.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno
