Google Analytics 100% Bounce rate

    HI,
    After installing yesterday Wordfence, today I checked my Google Analytics and I see 100% Bounce rate. Usually I have between 40-50% Bounce rate.
    The website is accessible and everything looks ok.
    I live for the bounce rate ??
    Can you help me?

  • Hi @audiorelax,

    It’s possible that your users are getting blocked, and leaving the site.

    Can you check Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic, to see there’s a large amount of blocked connections?

    Hi Dave,
    I checked and there is none.
    After all day I checked the stats and bounce rate went down to 70% so it looks like if the firewall was blocking people it’s not doing it anymore.
    The firewall is in learning mode, so I hope it was learning.
    I will keep an eye on the stats and I will post an update.

    Hi again!

    If the firewall is blocking people, it should show up in the live traffic view.

    For the Live Traffic, can you set it to All traffic? (It is set to Security Only by default)

    Hello Dave,

    I checked the stats today and everything looks normal.
    I guess it was some fluke in Analytics.
    Anyway, I’m getting to know Wordfence and I’m falling in love with it!
