• While installing the Google Analyticator application, I incorrectly entered the Analytics Account with the WordPress URL. Later I realized I needed to change this to the tracking ID that the Google Analyticator application provided. I tried to change it by deleting the current entry but it wouldn’t allow me to remove it. I tried resetting the application in hopes it would reset this value but it didn’t work. I then deactivated the application, removed it and then reloaded it. I checked if the plugin was removed and it was. I then reloaded the application and the Analytics Account continued to retain the same value. I have no idea how to replace it with the the correct value. Any assistance would be appreciated.

  • I also noticed that the ‘deauthorize and reset the plugin’ link had no effect.

However when i used the ‘reset’ link on the main plugins page the plugin was deauthorised correctly and i could re-add the correct analytics account.

This was a known bug that should have been fixed already:

    6.5.1

    Fix depricated classname constructors.
Fix issue with being unable to deactivate and reset from settings screen.

If you haven’t updated try updating then resetting everything.
