    Hello All,
I just installed this plugin, and input the Tracking ID. I am getting the error below. Anyone have any ideas? I am running this on a Windows 2008 server with IIS 7. I have deactivated the plug in – deleted it, reinstalled it, and getting the same error. My domain is NTP synced.

(cas:72) Google Analyticator was unable to authenticate you with Google using the Auth Token you pasted into the input box on the previous step.

This could mean either you pasted the token wrong, or the time/date on your server is wrong, or an SSL issue preventing Google from Authenticating.

Try Deauthorizing & Resetting Google Analyticator.

I found my own problem. I had not gone through the procedure to get the token code from the google web site. As soon as I did that – it is working fine. To get to that part of the plugin – I had to first disable the plugin – then delete it. I then had to go into the database WP_Options and delete all entries that started with “ga_”. Reinstall the plugin and follow the instructions. That is part of the problem – you delete the plugin – and it doesn’t remove the entries in the database. Bad plugin author…. it needs to clean up after itself – makes things much easier.

Thank you for sharing your solution. I encountered the same issue and your suggested fix worked for me as well. Much appreciated!

    I am go admin panel:
    /wp-admin/plugins.php

    Google Analyticator
    Settings | Reset |

    Press the “Reset”
    And re-login to Google.

    Work!

@ferbert – you’re solution worked for me as well. Thanks!
