Google Ajax Search Not functioning

I have installed the “Google AJAX Search box” plugin on my intranet site so users can search the site or google from one box.

However on my local machine it worked fine (Win XP Pro)

I then copied the setup to my internal web server (Win 2K server) and now I dont get the search box.

I put it at the bottom of the search bar and then for testing purposes put 123 and 456 either side of it and all I see is “123456” with nothing in between.

The plugin is enabled, I have my API in place, have put in OPEN as the display type, but no search box appears
