• Hi,

Im using the newly released ProSense theme on my wordpress blog (access it here)

As you can see on the index page the adverts being displayed are not relevant to the content at all. They seem to be about wordpress, rss, blog themes, website news sources etc etc.

I cant find any reason for this, if you go on a page or blog post, the ads are relevant.

    Any ideas? o

  • 1) This is a question to Google AdSense team, not wordpress ??
    2) It’s because your blog is very new, give it some time

Your site is blocked by my filters here at work, but it might be worth reminding you that Google Adsense is not allowed on sites with “Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia”.

MaxT: I was wondering if it is a wordpress issue more than anything else, as all of my sub pages and news posts are displaying relevant ads, just not the home page.

Yes my blog is new, but that doesnt explain why relevant ads are displayed on all pages apart from the index.

Otto42: I realise the URL is misleading (i will be purchasing more relevant URL’s for the site) however this is not to promote that sort of activity, i stress this thouroughly throughout the site on every page.

My statement about this is as follows-

Information on this website is intended for educational, historical and scientific purposes only. It is not our intention to to condone, promote or incite the use of illegal or controlled substances.

This website should in no way be used to promote political or illegal activities.

Hey, I got the same problem. Is your issue resolved yet?

This is NOT a wordpress issue. – Use section targeting to see if it helps: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=23168

Oh and mwoody, I would remove adsense on that site immediately. Google takes a firm stance on disallowing adsense on these types of sites. Fair enough it’s for educational use, but try explaining that when they ban you.

I have a question, I’m trying to add google adsense to my site, and it’s not coming up at all..

    All I’m getting is :

    // –> // –>

Anyone ever see this? I’m copying the code directly google adsense…

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
