• Hi, I have been on my website https://www.jitteryfeet.com for atleast 5 days trying to figure out why google adsense is not showing up on my site. I thought adsense has disable my account but that is wrong because I input my pub ID into another site https://www.rentbistro.com and it worked.

    So I concluded that it must be the theme. Would anyone know what I should do? Should I create a new file and input in my main folder? Edit some files? Please help, I am totally lost……

    Thanks in advance

    have you tried switching theme, for instance to the default theme Twenty Eleven?

    what plugin are you using for the adsense, or some of the adsense?

    what have you chosen for the adsense to show if not enough related content is available?
    have you chosen ‘public service ads’ or ‘nothing’ ?

    Hi Alchymyth,

    I have switched the theme to Twenty Eleven and it actually showed only a yellow block 250×250 (no text or anything). Please visit https://www.jitteryfeet.com for the preview.

    Below is the adsense code I pasted into the widget

    <script type=”text/javascript”><!–
    google_ad_client = “ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx”;
    /* Marathon */
    google_ad_slot = “4962676879”;
    google_ad_width = 250;
    google_ad_height = 250;
    //–>
    </script>
    <script type=”text/javascript”
    src=”https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js”&gt;
    </script>

    In addition, the Google Adsense plugin I’m currently using is Adsense Widget.

    The weird thing is, I paste the same code into rentbistro.com and it worked. But for some reason, it is not working on my jitteryfeet.com.

    the WordPress part of the adsense coding is working, i.e. it is output to the html in the browser.

    have you asked in a dedicated adsense forum?

    I assume there is not enough content in jitteryfeet.com.

    what are your settings under ‘backup ads’ for your adsense units?

    I have my back up ads as solid color. I also tried backing up the ad link as a URL but it still show a solid color b/g.

    I thought it might be not enough contents too last night so I started posting on the website. So far it is the same result as the solid color background.

    I will also ask help from adsense forum and see what they will say.
