    Hi there guys,

First of all, excellent plugin, thank you for developing it. I’ve been using the free version for over a year now, without any problems, however I noticed in the last 3-4 weeks that Google Ads stopped reporting all the conversions?

The functionality of the plugin seems to be ok on the WordPress side, as the pixels fire up with green boxes appearing, whenever applicable, but nothing gets picked up on Google Ads. The campaign shows 0 conversions in the last 21 days, despite getting multiple conversions in the store, and most of these would be from Google Ads, as the site primarily runs on paid traffic.

No changes made whatsoever, either in WordPress or Google – the conversion ID and the purchase conversion label is all active in WordPress, although that specific conversion action shows “No Recent Conversions” in Google Ads.

Just wondering if anyone’s reported such issues lately or you have any problems on your end? Thank you

    Hi @zdebx,

I understand that no conversions are being reported in Google Ads. Let’s get this sorted out.

It can be caused by several factors:

    1. Cookie Management Platforms (cookie banners) might be blocking the conversion tracking
    2. If you are using caching you must make sure to exclude the purchase confirmation page
    3. If you are using minification plugins, turn them off and try again. Some minification plugins break the conversion code
    4. Users who disabled JavaScript or users who are blocking cookies (e.g. with ad blockers) can’t be tracked

You can read more in our documentation here. See: https://sweetcode.com/docs/wpm/faq#no-conversions-are-being-reported-in-google-ads

Also, we’ve received some reports about the same issue after Google’s requirement of activating Google Consent Mode.

Have you by any chance activated Google Consent Mode?

    We’ll wait for your response.

    Hi @aaronvincentlee,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I wouldn’t know if cookie banners somehow affect the conversion tracking, however I’m not getting any conversions at all right now, so it must be something else.

I do use WP Rocket caching plugin, but I doubt it’s causing any issues, because I’ve been using it for more than a year, so the settings must be ok, as I haven’t changed the defaults.

I do not use any minification plugins and users blocking Javascript or cookies are probably in the minority of the traffic, so you’d expect some conversions not to be reported, but nothing’s being recorded at the moment. Haven’t activated the “Consent Mode” in the plugin.

I’ve decided to create a new conversion on Google Ads and add the new purchase conversion label to Pixel Manager in WordPress – let’s see if it makes any difference.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

    @Leeberty

    This has now been resolved.

If anyone’s having a similar issue, the problem was with the “Google Consent Mode” not being active in the plugin. All I had to do was to tick the box in the “Consent Management” section of the plugin to resolve this.

Thank you for the great technical support via emails. Much appreciated.
