Hi, considering that Google Analytics 4 uses gtag.js. Join.chat detects it automatically and sends events.

    Ok thanks

    Hi,

I’ve just create a new GA 4 propriety and tested my events, but clicking on the whatsapp pop up I don’t see any event on analytics. There is something new that I’ve to do with the new version of analytics?

    Hi!

Join.chat automatically sends analytics ‘click’ event to Universal Analytics (UA) or Google Analytics 4 (GA4). In versions prior to 4.1.9 first check if UA is present and send UA event and otherwise check if GA4 is present and send GA4 event. For this reason, if the two versions of analytics are present, it only sends the first (UA).

From version 4.1.9, join.chat will send events for UA and GA4 if both are present.

Please try the new version. Your feedback is welcome ??
