Googes PageInsight speeds up without TinyMCE – why?
-
I’m still improving an extensive new WordPress page (in developer mode, therefore no link) bit by bit. GTMetrix, Pingdom, SEOBility all show good values. Only Google’s Page insight sees the page between 51 and 58 percent. I’m in the process of working through the suggestions Google is making, but so far no big leaps have been made.
But if I now deactivate the TinyMCE Advanced Editor (whose capabilities I don’t really want to miss, I love it!), PageInsights will easily shoot up to 88 percent or even more.
Any idea why? In Asset CleanUp I can’t find anything that TinyMCE would send to the frontend …
Thank you, Bernd
