The default photo for the books is 50px wide but I would like it to be 150px wide and I see the URL can accomplish it but I don’t see where I can change the size myself as it’s not something tied to CSS.

    Hi there, @starrymom,

To adjust the book photo size in the Goodreads Widget provided by Jetpack, you usually would need to change the URL parameters that dictate the image size, if the widget’s design allows for that.

However, if the configuration options aren’t readily available in the widget’s settings or if the image size is hardcoded, customization options could be limited.

Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via?contact form?If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread. Thanks!

There’s no options to do anything within the widget. I do see in the code where it’s hardcoded to the “small” size but I dislike changing plugins code because then I’m stuck doing it for every update.

    Hi @starrymom,

I tested the widget and the biggest book image size you can get is by setting the view in a Grid mode. Any other changes in image size can be done only via bespoke customisation that might be lost at every update, as you mentioned.

I’m sorry to deliver bad news! I’d encourage you to flag this to our developers as an enhancement request via this GitHub link.

Hope that helps! Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or need some more help.

Thank you for checking on this for me.
