Good working Tool, but security issues

I was using the free tool without any Problems in my web installation and local with XAMPP for nearly a year. But then happened a hack from a server in Varna through a massive security issue as described in the Wordfence blog, some days before the update to …8. The complete Installation was corrupted. After discarding htdocs and the database a backup could save my work. Since then no problems. As you can find in the web this was not the first serious hack of Duplicator. Consequence: A powerful plugin. Delete the plugin after using. Caution with the backup files.
