The portfolio filter gallery was functioning as it should on my local environment and when I migrated to my hosting platform things got funky. I was using all default settings and when the portfolio page loaded initially the images did not align correctly. As soon as the browser page size was adjusted or I clicked to inspect the page they images slid into their correct alignment. I contacted the developers and they got back to me the next day. They told me to make sure I did not have lazyload running, and I responded saying I did not. They then got back to showing that I did indeed did have lazyload and that it looked like it was coming from a plugin. I then identified which plugin and tada! the portfolio filter gallery was working as it should. So DOUBLE CHECK that you do not activate any plugins with lazyload.
