• I know the core team has worked very hard on this. I’m not going to be overly critical because I very much appreciate all that they do, and know they are humans. Humans with feelings.

That said, I did run into quite a few issues right away and I only tested in Twenty Seventeen.

Do I think this is ready for primetime? No.
Do I think it’s an interesting beginning? Yes.

The ability to create a post in Gutenberg and switch to classic, then back to GB without losing content is great, and reassuring.

Would like to see image alignment next to text be far more intuitive. The way blocks are moved up and down left me feeling a little lost within the editor. This will likely leave basic users feeling very lost. Not sure what the answer is, but it is somewhat confusing.

Won’t be switching to Gutenberg anytime soon unless forced to do so. (Please don’t force it). I do like the concept, however.

Thank you for working so hard to make WP better. I am quite sure this is going to be great one day. ??

@netpotion thanks for taking the time to leave a review and test Gutenberg. Could I ask for a little more insight into what you are experiencing on image alignment? Would be great to maybe even get this reported as a bug here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/new/. Would you be able to do that?

    Hi Tammie,

It was just very confusing to get it to work. Don’t want to add it to GIT as a bug since it was essentially a problem with it being unintuitive. In the end I was able to get it to do what I want. Seriously doubt my clients would be able to, however.

Having blocks that are specifically for image aligned left, and image aligned right would help tons with this. Don’t know if that’s possible, but it would make it a lot easier.

    Thanks,

    Corey
