Good Software, Great Support

The plugin provides a familiar POS interface, split L-R with inventory on left and cart on right. You can search products by SKU or fuzzy title, which comes in handy if the product name is not exactly as you enter it. Products can be added on the fly. Orders can be voided. Order notes can be added and the customer base is drawn from the wordpress user DB. Customers can be added to WordPress user DB through the UI, but cannot be edited at this time. Native payment options are cash, external payment device, and smart card (which is offered through developer). The big win here is developer offers an extension for WC Payment Gateway, which allows you to add any payment gateways that are available through your WooCommerce site including Credit Card processors, PayPal, personal check, etc. This extension is worth EVERY PENNY.
Support is very friendly and responsive. We experience some initial issues setting up the multiple user addon which was easily resolved by one of their techs through online chat. When we encountered bugs or operational issues, support was quick to address our concerns and provide sensible resolutions, hacks, and fixes as needed.
As an example, we frequently write big tickets with several B2B clients at trade shows. The order in which the items are printed is actually important to us. Our clients will use the WooCommerce invoice to physically check in the order. This was complicated by the invoice listing products by price highest to lowest. BizSwoop added cart order into the settings page, so we could select “sort by items added to cart:older is higher”. In this way the invoice would match up with the order the products are pulled.
Do keep in mind that this plugin is built off php, js, and css so if you’re experiencing really odd behavior or errors, take the time to clear any caching plugins your site may be using and clear your browser cache as well. Chrome has a nasty habit of hanging on to old versions of js and css and not detecting new versions so well.
Looking forward to working with this team. They seem to have a good balance of business sense and programming savvy that should make for a great product.
