Good Responsive Theme With Schema.org Markup
-
Almost two years back sensing that mobile traffic is going to be the future and Schema.org compliance would please Googlebot, while searching for a responsive magazine layout theme with Schema.org markup, I stumbled across Magazine, a child theme of Omega.
Needing these two features in one theme, there was no choice at all at that time; however, with Magazine it was a love at first sight, for its simplicity, look, Schema.org markup, and responsiveness. With a lot of anxiety, I installed it on two of my blogs.
Compared to all other theme coders I have worked with, the coder of this theme, Han, was very much reachable. The markup schema.org/BlogPosting was missing in the codes at the first time I installed the theme. Again, after the latest update of Omega, version 1.1.0, the feature of displaying thumbnails in Magazine’s layout was throwing errors on my blogs. I was able to bring these glitches to the coder’s notice, and the reaction was lightening fast, got them resolved in a matter of minutes.
Now I am a satisfied blogger using Magazine/Omega themes for almost two years. The sites that I am using these themes currently are MT Herald and Raj & Co, though I would take down the first site in two-three months from now.
I would recommend these themes to anybody who is in search of these features in a magazine layout. Feel free to come up with your queries if I can be of any further help.
