• The folks at Elementor are oblivious to the fact that when a new plugin update occurs, websites and DBs need updating. They update this plugin every 3-4 days. Each update usually includes a DB migration (dangerous). They have taken CI/CD to the extreme, creating ridiculous minor updates for every revision they make (even for updates to comments in their code). Even rookie developers know that this is a dangerous practice. Despite 2 years of protestation it’s quite obvious that these guys simply don’t care!

If you enjoy wasting time running pointless and extremely dangerous updates on your wordpress sites every 2-3 days, then this is definitely the plugin for you!! (We have 100s of sites, with many running Elementor pro……. I rue the day we opted into this mess – complete CF)

Per usual, @luisrelementor will respond to this and claim that the folks at elementor are sorry for the experience….. that they listen to their customers….. and that they will pass on our comments to their engineers. Rubbish – nothing will be done!!

  • Elementor developers know well about the updates in their “change log” and I think its necessary to patch security bugs. Regarding their consistent updates, yeah! Its annoying. With every new update, there’s a mess. I hope elementor would again start solving the issues and queries rather than just updates.

It wouldn’t be so bad if those updates were thoroughly tested, and in the event of a bug or other issue, Elementor supported their product. But Elementor Tech Support is an oxymoron.
