Good plugin – fast overview

  • Well, the plugin is working as it should, and I find it useful, that I don’t always need to login to Search Console. The infomation in the kit is not quite as detailed as in Search Console, but still good enough for everyday updates and overview.

    The annoying part: Google is using a slow connection when measuring site speed on a mobile device. If you don’t know, that most of the world is now on fast networks with their mobile devices, it can be quite devastating if you try to fix load times even though you’ve done all correct.

    Still: It’s a perfect addition to Search Console right within WordPress admin.

    In relation to the Search Console details shown within Site Kit, you’re correct that the plugin won’t display as much information as is shown from the Search Console platform directly. While this is intentional, there is a “Source: Search Console” link that will direct users to the Site Kit connected property, where they can view further details.
