Good Plugin but support?

I really like this plugin though it took me most of the day to figure out how it works, some of it. Even on the website there is sparse info or step by step process. I found 2 videos but same thing.
After sifting through everything I cannot find a way to simply add one item with a price. Not a dropdown or buttons or calculation, just add 1 item with price.
