I’ve been using this plugin for a year. I wanted to be able to use the widget, so I purchased pro at a discounted rate. At the time, the full rate was $99.

It worked fine. I used it to display when I attend craft fairs, and when I am running a workshop day – about 10 events per year.

I have now received an email to renew it, and it has gone up BY 50% to $149. Add tax too, and it’s a massive increase. Too much for me. I don’t use any exciting features. All I need is a calendar and the ability to display it nicely as a widget. I’m a small business, a sole trader, so this is far too much of a price increase for the year for me, unfortunately.

Update – thank you for your reply. I had already replied to the renewal email,. and they did kindly offer a discount, but since this is something I need going forward, I think it’s better to find a plugin that will suit me long term. Your plugin is good – but it’s much more than I need, I simply don’t use all the features. I would be happy to pay for a plugin that has less features at a lower premium. Thanks all the same.

Hi @beckseden, thank you so much for being a loyal user of our plugin over the past year and for sharing your feedback with us. We’re glad to hear the plugin has helped you showcase your craft fairs and workshop days!

I know that price increases are tough. By increasing our pricing and adding new products to Events Calendar Pro (and our other Tickets product) we are considering the longevity of our teams and products as a whole and have made the decision to increase pricing.

Since this concerns the premium/pro plugin, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Success Team — helpdesk for assistance and we’ll review your account and see how we can help you out on your renewal!

    Have a great day.
