Good plugin, annoying nag

  • This is a great plugin for changing user permissions. However the persistent nag banner is really annoying. I use this plugin on multiple sites and dismiss the needy ‘please review us’ banner, but then the next day it’s back! Once dismissed it should stay gone or at least not reappear appear for a significant length of time.

    So there you go, here’s your review you pleaded for. If you want 5 stars then remove the nag or at least make it considerably less annoying.

  • Hello @jhob. Thank you for sharing your review. We’re sorry about the problem with the notices. In most cases, the notices should go away on their own. However, in some cases object/database caching can cause them to stick around even after being dismissed.

    Usually, rebooting the webserver will reset object/database caches. Please give this a try, and if you continue to experience problems, contact us at [email protected]. Thanks, again, for your feedback.

    Well this is happening across over 15 sites on different hosts so it’s definitely a plugin issue. As most are on shared hosting rebooting the server isn’t an option, or really a sensible suggestion, to correct a plugin issue.
